Lorenzo Bazán Rico brings over 50 years of professional experience in immigration law, advising clients on a wide range of regulatory and administrative procedures before key governmental authorities in Mexico.

His practice includes handling filings and processes before the National Institute of Migration (INM), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE), foreign investment authorities, technology transfer offices and the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI). He has also advised on matters involving the Ministry of Finance (including foreign banking representative offices), the Public Registry of Property and Commerce of Mexico City, and the General Directorate of Mines.

In addition, he has extensive experience managing procedures before various governmental bodies, including the Ministry of National Defence (SEDENA), the Legal Department of the Mexico City Government and the Civil Registry, handling matters such as the registration of foreign civil status documents, amendments to civil records and the apostille of public documents, including academic certificates and notarial instruments, at both local and federal levels.
